Leon Ekery of El Paso, TX. is running a 1956 Desoto Fireflite  with a turbo diesel swap at the Texas Mile in Victoria 10/26/18. Ekery said he has been building the car for about six years. He plans the take the classic four door to the Bonneville Salt Flats next August.

Austin Eddy 24, of Houston, Texas ran his 1992 Lexus SC 300 at this weekends Texas Mile held at the Victoria Airport. Eddy’s older brother Ryan and their father all ran the can. With Austin getting the highest top speed of the three at 183.3. Ryan credits their father for getting him and Austin into cars. The trio raced at the Texas Mile about 8 years ago.

Doug Almond of Monument Colorado brought is restored 1986 Ferrari Testarossa to this last weekend's Texas Mile held at the airport in Victoria Texas. According to race organizers This is the first Testarossa to be run in the standing one mile time trial.
