Red River Flood

The muddy red water kept rising. ArkLaTex residents lived though a 100 year flood in 1990. In June of 2015 the water rose higher and stayed longer. The economically isolated, rural area near the Okla, Texas and Ark borders felt the strain of drought earlier that year. Heavy rains in Oklahoma sent flood waters south breaching banks, submerged bridges, and destroying homes.
